I shoot company culture, environmental portraits, styled executive headshots, and image libraries planned for websites, campaigns, and content calendars. My job is to hone in on the details, people, and interactions that illustrate the essence of your organization.
The people in front of my camera are often not professional models. They may be engineers, clinicians, executives, or students. When it benefits the shoot, I'll take a more active role in coaching poses and staging scenes. Other times, I’ll be a fly on the wall while your team works. Every shoot is different, and agility and flexibility are essential when creating an effective image library.
Offices often don’t stop working because a photographer showed up, and part of my job is managing that reality. I am equally comfortable working within a fully styled production or bringing a lean setup into a busy workplace to keep the shoot agile.
On set, I give as much direction as the moment needs and stay alert to the interactions that can't be manufactured. Many of the candid moments I’ve shot have become multipurpose hero content that clients return to throughout their marketing.
I photograph office culture and environmental portraits at corporations in the professional services, finance, healthcare, and tech industries. My assignments have brought me into university greenhouses, laboratories, and hospitals to photograph researchers, clinicians, staff members, and students at work.
When planning a shoot, my clients and I define where their deliverables will live and what each one needs to accomplish. Sometimes, I collaborate with a marketing team to build the shot list from those answers. Other times, I execute a creative director's vision. Either way, the finished images are composed for the jobs they need to do.
My team has contracted Isabel for dozens of projects capturing intricate, detailed food shoots for our social media and web-based hospitality marketing. Isabel is an experienced pro photographer whom I got to know while we were working on an apparel brand startup.
